Wat zijn toch die veelbesproken ‘Londense taferelen’ in Amsterdam?
Stijgende huizenprijzen, steeds kleinere woningen, een tekort aan betaalbare woningen, starters & gezinnen worden verbannen uit de stad…..Dit zijn de ‘Londense taferelen’ waar we de afgelopen tijd over horen in het nieuws. Klopt Londen echt aan de deur van Amsterdam?
Tijdens onze heren 5 bureau-excursie van 24 t/m 26 mei a.s., staan deze vragen centraal. We brengen een bezoek aan legendarische sociale woningbouwprojecten zoals Robin Hood Gardens & het Barbican, een tot woningen getransformeerde gashouder en nieuwe woningbouwprojecten in het hart van de stad. Gidsen staan daarbij klaar om ons te informeren en rond te leiden.
En op vrijdagavond gaan we in discussie over deze thema’s bij het gerenommeerde Duggan Morris Architects. Daar luisteren we naar de ervaringen van dit Londens architectenbureau en vertellen wij waarom wij Het Kanaal zijn overgestoken.

During our heren 5 office excursion from 24 to 26 May, these questions are central for us. We pay a visit to legendary social housing projects such as Robin Hood Gardens & the Barbican, the former Gas Holders transformed into homes and new housing projects in the heart of the city. Local Guides & experts are ready to inform us.
And on Friday evening we will discuss these themes with the renowned Duggan Morris Architects. We listen to the experiences of this London based architecture firm and tell why we have crossed The Channel to learn from them!
